Most countries in the world get to experience winter, of course the severity of it differs due to location but everyone has a chance at experiencing winter. I know many people who love winter; however every one has different reasons as to why. Here I will discuss the reasons as to what makes my winter special.

A major reason I think winter is special is because of the snow. Yes, I love snow. Ever since I was a kid, I have enjoyed playing in snow and much has not changed since then. My friends and I love enjoy engaging in different snow activities such as; making snow angels, having snow fight or even making snow men. Also, often school or work get’s cancelled due to heavy snow; thus some of the worst winter days often tend to be my best ones.

For me, waking up and finding out I have the entire day off thrills and excites me. Winter is special to me, because I even get to make my snow ice cream at home. Snow ice is probably the best ice cream I have ever had. It’s creamy, sweet and cold. There is something about having ice cold items, during winters in front of a fireplace. I often wrap a blanket around myself and slowly enjoy every bite I take. Of course I freeze, but that’s exactly how I enjoy my winters.

The reason winter is special to many of us is because of the fact that it is linked to the Christmas season. Many countries all over the world celebrate this season with great joys; we can see the city’s streets and trees all decorated with beautiful lights. With snow, cold and decorations the city becomes an epic sight for all of us to enjoy. Therefore winter is a season, which promotes feelings of happiness and joy for everyone. Personally, I have noticed that during winters I stay more relaxed and happy. The cold definitely turns my bad day around. And lastly; winter is enjoyed by many of us due to the shopping that comes along with it. I love to shop for winter clothing. The gloves, shoes, hats and mufflers tend to promote a cozy feeling, which I crave for during chilly days. Also, I have noticed that the shop keepers tend to put up the best promotions during winters. Therefore, during winter I also tend to shop for other festivals. In winters, I save up on money and obtain good items for the special events.

I believe winters are very special. Winter holds some of the happiest moments that I have ever experienced in my life, therefore my loyalty will always be towards winter. In winters, I see happiness on others faces and I remember all my precious moments. Winter, enhances my emotions and leaves me happy. Therefore, those who get a chance to experience the winter are very lucky, as it’s a joyous break from the heat. I’ll suggest everyone to find the same joy in winters, as I do.
